Store Policies and Return Policy
Our goal is always for you to LOVE your new purchase! However, if you are not completely satisfied with your order, please let us know and we will see what we can do to fix that! Also, it is very important to open, try on and inspect your purchase as soon as you can. If you think that you have received a defective item, contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. If you are missing items from your order, have any questions about your order, or receive the wrong items, please contact us ASAP.
Items can be returned for STORE CREDIT OR EXCHANGE ONLY: To be eligible for store credit or exchange, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. The original tags and receipt must be present. It must also be within the return dates listed below:
- IN STORE PURCHASES:
- Can only be returned/exchanged within FIVE DAYS of the purchase. This date can be found at the bottom of your receipt.
- ONLINE ORDERS-SHIPPING:
- Can only be returned/exchanged within TEN DAYS of the date that you received your order. If 10 days have gone by since receiving your item, unfortunately we can't offer you a store credit or exchange.
- Customer must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the item to let us know that you will be returning. Customer is responsible for obtaining tracking information when returning. Simply Chic is not responsible for items lost/stolen/damaged goods.
- ONLINE ORDERS-STORE PICKUP:
- If the in store pick up items are not picked up within FIVE DAYS of the purchase date, then this order is not eligible for store credit or exchange. After the five days have passed, it is FINAL SALE.

- Sale Merchandise
- Hair Accessories
- Worn/washed items
- Items from other Simply Chic locations
- Seasonal Items
- Gift cards
- Items without a receipt
- Bath bombs and car scents
- Damaged items
-Seasonal items(Christmas, Mardi Gras, Thanksgiving/Fall, Halloween, Easter, 4th of July, Football/Sports, St. Patrick's Day, Valentine's Day, New Year's)
*Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your return. If you are approved, then you may exchange for other merchandise or a store credit code will be sent to you to use on your next purchase.
All store credit amounts are valid at Simply Chic Boutique Shreveport location only. Store credit cannot be used at our Bossier, Natchitoches, Baton Rouge, or Mandeville locations. Credit amount must be used in full within one year of being issued. Store credit cannot be used to purchase gift cards.
Only regular priced items may be returned, unfortunately sale items cannot be returned for store credit or exchange.
Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at Simplychicshreveport@aol.com and send your item to: 6120 Line Avenue Shreveport, Louisiana, US 71106 within 10 days or receiving item. Item must be in original, unused condition with tags and receipt. We will then send instructions on how to receive your new item.
Gift items may be exchanged only within 5 days of purchase with tags and receipt present. No store credit will be issued on gifts. If you are purchasing a gift for someone else, it is the customers responsibly to notify us.
***Exceptions may be made at the discretion of Simply Chic Boutique store owner and managers on a case to case basis. ***
- To return your product, you should mail your product to 6120 Line Avenue Shreveport Louisiana US 71106 after first notifying us of your impending return.
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
- Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Simply Chic Boutique is not responsible for mistakes or delays caused by the Post Office.
- You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance on all shipments as Simply Chic Boutique is not responsible for lost/stolen/damaged items. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
- We will hold items until the end of that same business day only. All items can be purchased on website and picked up in store if you are unable to come same day. Regular return policy applies to "store pick up" items.
- We will not hold "last one" items. This is the last size in a particular item.
If you have requested to be put on a waiting list for an item, we will contact you as soon as the item arrives. You will have 1 hour to respond before the item is passed onto the next person or put out on the floor for stock.
CHRISTMAS RETURN POLICY:
Christmas gifts may be exchanged ONLY with a valid receipt by the end date designated on the receipt. Our standard rules apply as well (no seasonal items or sale merchandise will be accepted). NOTE:IT IS THE PURCHASER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO NOTIFY THE STAFF THAT THE ITEM IS A GIFT, SO THAT A GIFT RECEIPT IS PRINTED. IT IS ALSO THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE AWARE OF THE RETURN POLICY.
